Studio Policy
Respect & Conduct: Students are expected to treat instructors, staff, classmates, and studio property with respect. Disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
Attendance & Punctuality: Students are expected to arrive on time and prepared for class. Students arriving late may be asked to observe before participating, at the instructor’s discretion.
Proper Attire: Students must wear appropriate dance attire and footwear required for their class. Hair should be secured away from the face when appropriate.
Studio Safety: Students must follow all instructor directions and studio safety guidelines. Running, roughhousing, or unsafe behavior is not permitted in the studio or waiting areas.
Personal Belongings: Students are responsible for their personal belongings. HD Dance Academy is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
Parent & Guardian Policy: Parents and guardians should allow instructors to conduct classes without unnecessary interruption. Observation may be limited or restricted depending on the class, studio space, or instructor.
Pick-Up & Drop-Off: Parents and guardians are responsible for timely drop-off and pick-up of students. Students should not be left unattended before or after their scheduled class.
Communication: Important studio updates, schedule changes, and announcements will be communicated through the studio’s designated communication channels. Families are responsible for keeping their contact information current.
Photography & Media: Students may be photographed or recorded during classes, rehearsals, events, or performances for HD Dance Academy-related promotional purposes, unless a media restriction or opt-out has been submitted to the studio.
Illness: Students should not attend class when they are sick or experiencing symptoms that may put other students or staff at risk.
Studio Property: Students and families are expected to respect the studio facility, equipment, mirrors, floors, and other property. Damage caused by intentional or negligent behavior may be the responsibility of the student or family.
Policy Changes: HD Dance Academy reserves the right to update studio policies, procedures, schedules, and requirements when necessary. Families will be notified of significant changes.
Recitals & Performances
HD Dance Academy offers annual performance opportunities for students. Annual Recital may be professionally choreographed, and all eligible students will be invited to participate. Additional information regarding performance dates, costumes, fees, rehearsal schedules, and participation requirements will be communicated to families as details become available.
Tuition Policy
Payment: Tuition may be paid monthly or by season, depending on the enrollment option selected.
Class Capacity: Each class has a maximum enrollment capacity. Once a class is full, registration will close. Additional students may enroll only if a space becomes available.
Age Requirements: Students must register for classes within their designated age group. Enrollment outside of the student’s age range requires prior studio approval.
No Refunds, Credits, or Transfers: All tuition and fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Tuition and fees cannot be applied as credit toward future classes, sessions, or another student.
Missed Classes: Missed classes may be made up in another eligible class, subject to availability and studio approval. Make-up classes must be completed within the applicable season and may not be carried over to a future season.
Unlimited Membership: Unlimited Membership applies only to eligible regular classes within the student’s designated age division. Competition team rehearsals, small group classes, private lessons, solo/duet/trio coaching, master classes, and special workshops are not included.
Registration Fee: A one-time registration fee may apply to new students and is non-refundable.
Class Changes: Class schedules, instructors, and class offerings are subject to change. HD Dance Academy reserves the right to cancel or modify a class when necessary.
Enrollment: Enrollment is not guaranteed until registration and any required payments have been completed.
Absences & Make-Up Classes
Student Absences: If a student is unable to attend a scheduled class, the absence does not qualify for a refund, credit, or tuition adjustment.
Make-Up Classes: Eligible missed classes may be made up by attending another class of the same or appropriate level, subject to availability and studio approval.
Season Deadline: Make-up classes must be completed within the same season in which the absence occurred and cannot be carried over to a future season.
No Cash Value: Make-up classes have no cash value and cannot be transferred to another student or exchanged for a refund or tuition credit.
Advance Notice: Families are encouraged to notify the studio in advance whenever possible when a student will be absent.
Studio Cancellations: If a class is canceled by HD Dance Academy, the studio will provide an appropriate make-up opportunity or other arrangement at the studio’s discretion.
Enrollment & Conduct
HD Dance Academy reserves the right to refuse service, deny enrollment, or dismiss a student or family whose behavior, conduct, or actions are deemed disruptive, unsafe, inappropriate, or not in the best interest of the studio community.
Enrollment at HD Dance Academy constitutes acknowledgment and acceptance of these policies and any additional waivers, forms, or requirements presented through the parent portal.
